REFLECTIONPAPER: ICT
"ICT (information and communications technology - or technologies) is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application, encompassing: radio, television, cellular phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellite systems and so on, as well as the various services and applications associated with them, such as videoconferencing and distance learning. ICTs are often spoken of in a particular context, such as ICTs in education, health care, or libraries." (María López Sánchez ).
Now a days, technology usually used by us. Through this it can help many people in everyday lives. Like most I use technology such as computers and the Internet to complete schoolwork, projects, and to conduct research. Technology helps to speed up the learning process for students like myself because it creates a more efficient learning environment in many ways. For example I can write this blog post much faster than I could if I were to hand-write it. And of course without the Internet I wouldn’t be able to view my peers posts until I attended class on Wednesday. But technology is also an important part of my life for reasons other than just education. Technology is also important to me for enjoyment purposes.
It help to connect other people in different country to build a relationship.
As technology continues to advance and direct even more easiness in our lives, there is a need to stress how advantageous it has been to our lives.
The World Wide Web also helps For anyone that wants to learn just about anything there is an endless pool of resource, much of it free, available to them whenever they like. Layer mobile devices on top of this and information is more accessible than ever. But, People don't know how to limit themselves when it comes to ingesting content. We've all seen, or been, the people that are buried in their computer, laptop, tablet, phone for hours on end sitting on our ass and not using our brains and muscles as much as we probably should. It may not be entirely fair to blame the WWW for this but I think it certainly contributes to the rise in obesity and lethargy in our society today.
As a student, i can say that tic and call are helpful, each in different fields. ICT serve in our daily lives and to know about everyone.
