1.  Given the available media that we now have in the world, what are the roles & functions in a Democratic society? Media is all around us, society is constantly interacting with social mediums for their own gratification, that gratification could be keeping contact with friend and family or it could be sharing your experiences with the world through pictures and videos.   Another gratification could be finding information easily and quickly using things such as the internet.   The Internet allows the improvement of travel agencies and tour operators by speeding up communication and providing all the necessary information. Radio broadcasts can provide real-time information, broadcast-ed 24 hours a day to provide the most recent updates to listeners. Stations have the ability to reach across borders and become a source of information where reliable news is scarce.   Even electricity is not a necessity for battery operated and hand-cranked radios.

TEKNOLOHIYA: NOON AT NGAYON

Teknolohiya ang paraan upang mapadali ang buhay natin. Ito rin ang masasabing paraan ng pagsulong at paglapat ng mga kasangkapan, makina at iba't ibang processo na makatulong sa gawain ng isang tao.    Noon hindi pa gaanong maunlad ang teknolohiya. Kaya maraming mga gawain na ginagawa ng processong manomano. Halimbawa: Sa pagluluto . Noon ginagamitan pa ito ng Kahoy at sinsindihan upang makakapagluto. ngunit sa kalikutan ng pag iisip ng mga tao iniimbento nila ang Rice cooker, Micro wave at iba pang kasangkapan sa pagluluto kaya mapadali na ito ngayon.  Bukod sa mga kasangkapan, naimbento rin ang Washing Machine para sa paglalaba at higit sa lahat cellphone at computer upang mapadali  ang pag komunikasyon sa tao. Noon ang mga aaral ay hirap sa pag aaral dahil wala pang computer. Nagbasabasa o nag Scan ng mga libro sa librarya upang makahahanap ng mga sagot o katanungan. Pero ngayon sa pag imbento ng cumputer, mapapadali ang pag kuha ng mga impormasy
